Here’s a quick look at what the Digi-Chrome team has been up to.
I’ve just finished post-production work on the new Denon headphones we received. Sweet-looking shots from Rusty, but of course now the shots are perfect! I wonder how good these headphones sound?! – Tom U
I've had the chance to shoot with the Canon 5DMIII all summer and it has proved to be a really welcome addition to our camera lineup. This is my new favorite toy! When shooting kids on set this camera keeps up with the sudden bursts of expression that only the child/baby knows is coming. Gotta love it! - Michael Cardone, photographer
Here are some examples of where I think the Canon 85 1.2 L really excels.
This was shot at f/2.8. I started shooting at f/4 to bring more of the back of the table info cue but the client wanted the background softer so I opened up to f/2.8. I honestly don't think that I would have been able to do that with any other lens. The fact that 90 percent of that table is tack sharp really says a lot about this lens. Also the model is only 3 or 4 feet from the table.
This tablecloth image was shot at f/4. If you zoom in to 100 percent you can see every stitch in the pumpkins.
